Dick is an experienced leader with a long career at Fortune 100 companies as well as a successful entrepreneurial venture. His strengths are in the areas of strategic planning, finance and marketing. He holds a CPA designation and an MBA from Northwestern University.
As COO and Vice Chairman of Party City of Atlanta, Dick wrote the business plan, raised the growth capital, and was instrumental in growing the company to 27 superstores, 700+ employees, and revenues of $70 million. Prior to that, he was a Senior Executive with two national lenders providing financing for large and small commercial real estate projects and companies. Dick was also part of the management team of a MESBIC (which was wholly owned by Ford Motor Company) that provided financial advisory services for various manufacturing in service-oriented companies.
Dick currently serves as an advisor to non-profit organizations and small to medium sized businesses in the Atlanta area. He is Board Chair for the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia and serves on the board or finance committees for other non- profit organizations.
He and his wife Deb have three adult daughters who are all independent and successful in their own careers. They enjoy frequent travel as well as just relaxing at their cabin in the north Georgia mountains.
