Samuel P. Latone, II

Since moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1982, Mr. Latone has gained extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry, including senior executive level positions with investment and development companies, as well as service organizations.

Currently, Mr. Latone is President & Chief Executive Officer of The Shopping Center Group, an Atlanta based commercial real estate services company that focuses on the retail sector. The Shopping Center Group is one of the largest retail real estate services provider in the U.S., with sixteen offices located in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Additionally, Mr. Latone is a founding partner of SCG International, a real estate syndication company that acquires US retail properties and syndicates them to the European investment community.

Prior to joining The Shopping Center Group and co-founding SCG International, Mr. Latone was President of Baita Realty Investment Management and Senior Vice President of Branch Properties, two firms that specialize in acquiring and developing retail properties with European investment partners.

Mr. Latone began his career with the real estate financing arm of Westinghouse Corporation. While at Westinghouse, Mr. Latone focused on originating and underwriting both debt and equity financing for a variety of commercial real estate projects throughout the U.S.

Mr. Latone holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York and Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of both ChainLinks Retail Advisors and The Shopping Center Group and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

Mr. Latone lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Kimbell. He has two children, his son Samuel, III (17) and his daughter Hannah (11). Mr. Latone and his family enjoy spending time at their second home in South Florida, and he is a salt water fishing enthusiast.
